you know you're a hack guitarist when....

Re: you know you're a hack guitarist when....

Is anything relating to that bridge even correctly?

Re: you know you're a hack guitarist when....

well, i'm not shure

at least it plays and intonates correctly

The reason I ask is that I've never seen saddles that have needed to be that far back on a properly located bridge.

Can you post a good clear pic of the whole guitar?

But hey, it's got a Duncan in the bridge so it's OK, right? :jester:

yeah, the bridge might look bad but you would not believe how good it sounds, i'm pissed out since at this moment i can't crank my amp otherway i'd would record a vid, anyway during the week i'll try to record something

Re: you know you're a hack guitarist when....

That's the grossest bridge I've ever seen. I love it.

If it plays comfortably and sounds good, that's all that matters.

Re: you know you're a hack guitarist when....

He did that last fret get cut off or are they inlay stickers?

those are stickers k, i would never cut a fret out, actually i've tried to add frets, just never got an idea that could work on practice

Re: you know you're a hack guitarist when....

have you tried gluing coat hanger wire to the top of the neck pickup?

Re: you know you're a hack guitarist when....

well a quick shot of how the guitar sounds, i hope this redeems the bad look of the bridge and my redneck style fix

Re: you know you're a hack guitarist when....

Actually sounds pretty good. I was thinking so nasty looking as that bridge was, it wouldn't have much sustain at all.
