right now its this 1970s Traynor YBA-2b EL84 combo and an Epiphone Sheraton II but this amp sounds great with single coils... very bassman like and round sounding and it breaks up in a nice way..

Whats your fave combo ? pics are always nice ;)

For all the heavy stuff I like, I've heard few raw tones that are better than a nice Strat plugged into an AC30.

I was going to say Strat into Deluxe Reverb, but this would be my second choice.

52 RI Tele into my Fender 2 x 12 Blues Deville with plenty of reverb, pure Fender heaven.

I have a hard time choosing which amplifier to play my '98 American Standard Fender Stratocaster thru?:scratchch

But I love to play my Pauls thru my '65 RI Fender Twin-Reverb which is pure tone heaven. It even sounds good when I'm in a rush...two many Pauls, so Les time.:naughty:

When I'm partaking in some fine single-malt scotch (Islay & Speyside), a '52 AVRI Fender Telecaster seems to do the trick.:alcoholic

But a black Gibson SG roaring thru a VOX PathFinder 15R brings out the dark & sinister side in me.:angryfire

One of two options, for very different applications.

1) Les Paul into Mesa Stiletto Ace.

Or

2) Strat into Blues Deluxe

Last gig I used my ES-335 and Fender Deluxe...amp on 8 no pedals needed and the only time I put the 335 down was when I used a Telecaster in open G but for the most part the 335 and Deluxe supported me all night!
