Can do everything from chiming cleans to OMFG MY AMP IS MELTING from the guitar's volume knob.
My '96 Les Paul Standard and '80 Marshall JMP 2104

Sorry, forgot the pic
I gigged with this amp and guitar last night and they sounded perfect. I've been in the habit of using my DSL 50 and 1936 cab for gigs lately. I love the DSL in classic gain crunch mode, but there is something special in the response of this JMP that the DSL just can't match. It cleans up so well with the guitar volume, but sounds fat and full when you turn it up and hit the strings harder. The '96 LP has been my #1 since I bought it. Sometimes wish it had a cooler finish (like my '91 Classic :naughtybut this guitar feels and sounds so good!

very nice! what year is the amp ? Les Paul and Marshall, can't go wrong ! I personally don't use either because I feel like its been done so much and I should try and be different so to speak but If I had the money I would be investing in a nice vintage JTM45...
It's a 1980. I had one I bought new in 1980 then sold in the late 80s when I thought I needed two channels and reverb :smack:
Regretted that sale for years and eventually picked this one up on eBay about six years ago.
Les Paul and Marshall is what I grew up loving in the 70s so it's really my go-to sound!
Talking vintage JTM45 - I bought one for £40 in 1977 - an original from the 60s. At that time everyone wanted the master volume Marshalls and you could pick up older NMV models really cheap. There was no such thing as "vintage" then - they were just "old"! I sold that JTM45 in 1980 for about £100 and thought I did well. One of my greatest ever gear sale regrets :crying:
Love that rig...you and I have a lot in common...different but for sure related!

Yeah we all have our gear regrets.... very jealous though I have only dreamt about owning a JTM45... I never see them in any shops either
