I always thought that Francis Buchholz had the Precision bass sound for hard rock down to perfection. He later went to have a PA company, no surprise there.

In general, whatever weaknesses the Scorpions might have had in posing, English or cheesiness, they are really good when it comes to make two guitars work together, plus the rest of the instruments. Through in a decent budget for production while they were popular, good sound taste and you have a winner.

You know, I've pretty much liked all of the bass tones I've ever heard. About the only bass tone I can think of that makes me cringe is Korn's.

I LOVE sludgy bass tones, especially when I get a good one :banana:

they got HEAD BACK nowz, looking forward to the next album. I saw em last year live, and that BASS KILLED WITH PATH OF TOTALITY LIVE, the drums were siiick, since all programmed

ya, a lot gets click click but it is original definitely not for everyone

this is exactly how their live show was that I saw, hard to believe those sounds are from a real live drummer, its just that the drumset is preprogrammed electronic triggers:
