A little plastic Roy Rogers (it actually played kinda) when I was 6.

Acoustic: An beat up old archtop picked up in a pawn shop, can't recall the name, just that it was obscure. It was a good guitar, even though the neck was a log. I wish I'd kept it. I was 9 or 10.
Electric: A Silvertone. It was my first amp too, or more accurately the case was, it had an actual tube amp built into the case believe it or not. Even had tremelo. I was 11.
My first guitar was a cheapo Japanese electric guitar from Lafayette Electronics in N.Y. My Dad also bought me a little 5 watt Lafayette amp to plug this guitar into..The strings were very high off the frets and I had to string it lefty....It kept me busy though and I was thrilled to have it,plus it had a cool plastic case to put it away in...

Amp - Fender M-80 Bass Head and a Hohner/Celestion 1x15, 16 years (started bass before I started electric guitar ), also both still in my posession.
Bass - Washburn XS-4 Axxess bass. Still have it, been refinished, re-/Defretted, refretted again, and that type of stuff multiple times. That bass and the Mako "taught" me how to build guitars. And it´s still one of the best basses I´ve ever played for my styles
