Your Head A Splode

Another non-Strat for me. It's another Schecter. (I've owned a number of Schecters over the years, and two of the only new guitars I've ever owned have been Schecters, an A7+ and a CB-2000.)

Yup, two pickups...

Omen 6, one of the lower level ones. I think I'll get some inlay stickers for it to dress it up.

Wait a minute....

Yup. Active in the bridge, passive in the neck. Both pots are volume pots, 500k for the neck pickup, 25k for the bridge. Bridge is Dragonfire 85A, which is their take on the EMG 85. Neck is Mighty Mite Motherbucker. 21k BRIDGE model. Wired in parallel.

Yes, the neck humbucker overpowers the bridge. :firedevil


What's it sound like?






The bridge is more organic sounding, the neck is in your face powered death / evil / hell / satan / goat / cheese / pickles / onions on a sesame seed bun.

Are you going to put the vid graphic on it? That would be awesome!!!! Just skinny red lines. Easy to do mostly.

More along the lines of the active pickup in the bridge, and super powered passive bridge pickup in the neck, and them working together perfectly.
