You've got $10,000...

Re: You've got $10,000...

In order, my rock rig, my clean rig, and my metal rig:

Marshall JTM 45
Marshall 4x12

Fender Vibrolux

Hughes and Kettner TriAmp

Re: You've got $10,000...

No specific order I guess...

Orange Rocker 30
Hiwatt Custom 50
Marshall Bluesbreaker
Rivera Fandango
ENGL Thunderdrive

...that's a lot of amp... I'd also probably get a small amp for home practice stuff...

Re: You've got $10,000...

Matchless DC-30
Vox AC-30
Silverface Deluxe Reverb
Various 2x12 extension cabinets.

I'd be set for a while. :]

Edit: Definitely some kind of Hiwatt, but I'm unsure of which. Maybe a 50 watt model.

Re: You've got $10,000...

1. Bogner Uberschall ($2499)
2. Bogner Shiva EL34 head w/ reverb($2378)
3. CAA/Suhr OD100 SE+ ($3210)
4. Fender Super Reverb RI ($1400)

That leaves me about $400 left over for a nice Avatar 4x12 to top it all off!

I love these kinds of threads. :D

Re: You've got $10,000...

this is simple

1-Hiwatt Pete Townshend fullstack
2-and maybe an amp by 65 AMPs with what is left over

Re: You've got $10,000...

2010 Dual Rectifier:

ENGL Savage 120:

Marshall MF400 (Mode Four) 4x12:

Mesa Oversized 4x12:

Don't think it comes to $10,000, even, but I'd be set with those!

Re: You've got $10,000...

Super Reverb (vintage and fix it up or clone)

Another Princeton Reverb clone

Germino Club 40 Head with matching 2x12 cab

Re: You've got $10,000...

ENGL Special Edition 670.
Mesa Rectifier Slant and Straight Cabs
Midi Foot Controller for ENGL
Spend the rest of on pedals and TC G system.

Re: You've got $10,000...

A Marshall JTM45 and a couple 4x12 cabs with 25-watt celestions, a Vox AC30, a Fender Twin Reverb, and enough of those giant sound screens to avoid noise complaints from the neighbors.

First things first:

Through one of these:

Loaded with these:

Then, one of these just for grins (and by grins, I mean cleans, although the Sig-X does beautiful cleans too):

Re: You've got $10,000...

Bogner Ecstasy 100B (3k USD):
Bogner94Extasy_36.jpg

Simply the holy grail overdrive amp. I love the lead tones I've heard from this thing and the rhythm crunch tones are out of control. I may realistically get one down the road to add to my Shiva.

Bogner 20th Anniversary Shiva (2.5k USD):
shiva20front.jpg

This is the best all arounder from clean to lead.

Matchless DC-30 (2.5k USD):

This is one of those holy grail clean amps, chime and depth for days. I dig the hell out of my Vox AC15HW, but I can't say I wouldn't like to own a Matchless at some point. Those things are indestructible.

Matchless Lightning (2k USD):

Perfect for those inbetween British tones.

Soldano Decatone
Marshall 2550
Hiwatt DR504

Re: You've got $10,000...

I would find a real Trainwreck or Dumble and consider it an investment.

Re: You've got $10,000...

I'm thinking a couple of White Marshall cabs to make a Stack with my 1959RR, a JTM45/100 reissue, an Engl Fireball, Bogner Uberschall (sp?), a Peavey Classic 50 and a Classic 30 anda G System or similar Midi control system.
