You've got $10,000...

Re: You've got $10,000...

A Cornell Romany and a Martamps Matchless-a-like.

Which, coincidentally, is what I have. Or will, when the Martamp arrives.

Re: You've got $10,000...

Sadly, Ive never had the chance to play hardly any of the "great amps". (except one I have) I will keep my JCM800!!

So, based on what Ive heard, Id buy a
Splawn Quickrod and cab
Bogner Ecstasy and Ubershall

Since that would wipe out the funds

Re: You've got $10,000...

A Yamaha T-50 to be sent to Mike Soldano to do his original design for this amp.

Lee Jackson designed amps, all which to be sent to him for repairs:

Metaltronix and Blues '59.

Crate Stealth GT-50 - this needs the most work, like all the sockets replaced and some re-soldering connections.

Another Ampeg VL-501 and 502 - the current one I have will be for recording only (as I'll baby that one), so the second is for touring. The 502 will have 6550's on 'em. Both will be fixed of it's plaguing issues.

Horizon Lee Jackson XLS and XLA 500's.

That should barely cover the $10,000. I can dream, can't I?:naughty:

Re: You've got $10,000...

Some boutique copy of a Fender Deluxe Reverb. That with a Box of Rock, Blues Pro, Big Muff Pi, compressor, Dlx Memory Man, POG, and a flanger should do it.

Re: You've got $10,000...

Hayseed 30 or VOX ACH130 with matching cabs of celestion blues. For my no.1 clean amp
VOX AC50CP Head and cab. To use as my live two channel setup
Fender Blackface Deluxe To use in stereo with the first one
Orange Dual Terror or other small Marshallesque amp. For marshall rock tones.

In reality if I had 10,000 on gear I'd probably get the Hayseed and a few pedals and guitars.

Re: You've got $10,000...

I would find a custom amp builder and work with him/her and design one that worked for me.

Re: You've got $10,000...

Mesa Road King halfstack (x2) *one for back up* :p

Road Racks to store the heads in and wireless and other accumulated bs.

BC Rich Custom Shop *Made in USA* Mockingbirds *x3* or some custom made Gibson Firebirds.

Depends on what I like more..

(flips coin)

Re: You've got $10,000...

These....Carr Amps - Rambler, Mercury, Hammerhead and Viceroy. Hopefully with enough left over to buy a Traynor K4 to go with the multi-fx unit.

Re: You've got $10,000...

After the "how good are your ears" test:

MIM Strat, a steel block, a set of Ants.

Random MIJ LP and Ant humbuckers.

Mesa DC-5 or similar.

CE2- or ce-5, dd-2, big muff ram's head, BSM HS (that's about the only thing you can really hear).

Invest the rest in beer.

Re: You've got $10,000...

Well, I like 3 and 4 channel amps.

So here's my list.

Carvin V3 (which I now have).
Kustom Double Cross.
Diezel VH4.
Egnater mod50 or M4.

Only 2 channel amp I'd be interested in would be a Splawn.

Re: You've got $10,000...

Axe fx ultra
Fryette 2 90 poweramp
Diezel Einstein combo
RCF Active Speakers (art 7 series) with an active sub
and with the rest of the money, I would like to get an ONI custom guitar, 7 string fretless multiscale, tuned to 5ths.
