I guess that's what the new Ernie Ball 'Not Even Slinkys' are for as well?

They'll work for that, but they'll also tune to E standard as well. They're just really hard to bend.

I had the Zack Wylde light strings on my Les Paul Custom (the 10's, not 11's). Be prepared to do some truss rod adjustments, as those heavy strings have alot of tension. The top strings were fine. The lower strings, due to the tension, were very tight and percussine, perfect for fast rhythem, but I couldn't get pinch harmonics out of them compared to a set of 9-42

I been using zakk's strings for a while now. I use the Light set on my paul and the heavy set on my dean. It made it easier to hit the pinch harmonics when i put those on compared to lighter gauge strings. kinda weird i guess.

Re: Zakk Wylde Strings

I`m going to try the 10-60 set, my skinny top/heavy bottom Ernie Ball is good but when tuning the 6th string down to B it is way to floppy.
