Zeppelinish Song With E-bow, Heil Talkbox, And 500T

I figured I'd post this just for the heck of it. I've never heard anyone else's clips on here that used either a Heil Talkbox or an E-bow so I thought I'd share this so you could see what one can do with those little gadgets. It has no vocals as usual. I consider this song to be a little bit "Zeppelinish" actually. It gets rather repetitive, but I do have a pretty cool solo at the end. The cleans are all the Jazz Model in a Les Paul and so are the rhythms I think. I know at least one of the rhythms is a Jazz Model. The ending solo is a Gibson Les Paul with the stock 500T. I also used my trusty Bic lighter as a slide....lol.

HUGE tone! You're right, that is Zep-py; it sounds like the tone he had on "Outrider". You are a helluva rhythm guitar player! The solo was cool too but I don't think it did that riff justice!

Cool, Jolly! It sounds like a huge compilation of Zep songs. Solo was cool, I was sorta expecting a Page-esque lead, but yours was awesome.

Was the the Vetta II? What amp models?

LOL.....I don't think the riff did the solo justice.:9: Thanks for the compliments man. Actually, I think the bass on that song is what makes the tone sound so huge...of course the panning doesn't hurt anything either.

Biu, I couldn't sound like Page on a solo if I tried I don't think (I wish I could), nor rhythm either. That's not putting him down, I just can't play his badass minory type licks. That was my trusty ole Line6 AX2/212. The cleans were the '65 blackface twin, rhythms were JCM-800's, and the lead as always was a Mesa Mark IIc++....all modeled of course.

loved the song man!

the only thing that i noticed (and this is really being picky) is that the crash's were a little on the dull side.. didn't sustain at all.. but maybe thats what you were going for

other than that... that was awesome as usual jolly!

very nice Jolly...I like it. the vibes of it made me think of Kashmir more than any other zep song. The tone is amazing too!

Hey man, that's cool....but what's a bro to do? I play all my songs in real time with a Boss DR770 drum machine. It's the best I can do man. Trust me, I wish I could do better as well. I'm a real nit picker too, but that's all this niggahs got to work with.....unless I spend 4 grand on a Roland V-Session kit.

Cool. ..Yep, it's got a Zep-Kashmir-type rythm goin' on. ..I agree with Jolly, that the solo is better than the riff. ..Though, I think that changing the drumming at the tail-end of the clean intro would give the heavy desending break-down & heavy-rhythm more power. The talkbox was a cool effect. ..Also the Ebow should be a little louder in the mix &/or have been doubled with another Ebow track in a higher or lower octive. ...BWT, the last bit of the outro reminded me of the very end of Ozzy's 'Believer" only w/the notes in reverse or something. ..Cool.

Very Cool brought me back to the day. I used to sit in my new 68 Olds and see if I could bust the windows out with Zep tunes on my 8 track.

The vibes of it made me think of Kashmir more than any other zep song.

I like it a lot. Nice tones out of the Line 6.

But, I don't hear Kashmir at all.

It's more like a combination of "Ten Years Gone" and "In the Light"

The talk box effect with those long bends reminds me of Pink Floyd "Pigs" - Love it.
