    where can i get SD pickups with "feet"

    what up guys?

    anyone know where i can get SD pickups with "feet" so that i can screw them directly into the wood of the guitar...usually the ones i'd get were the ones that go with pickup rings...

    any ideas?...do i custom order them?

    Don't know what you mean about "feet", but if you're looking for a direct mount ready JB, I've got one in the classifieds.

      I just use my handy, dandy Dremel tool for those things. Cover the pickup in two way masking tape before you grind to catch the shavings and your set.

        AFAIK most builders (including myself) just buy the same pickups and either use thinner screws or drill out the holes.

        I donīt know of any pickups specifically designed to be mounted directly

          you have to bore the exsiting hole larger yourself.
