    I've got a boss fender tweed pedal that I use for comp and overdrive. I'm playing a rhythm with a little lead in a texas country band. Think if ZZ Top were to do hard driving country, that's what we're going for.

    As for the amp, I'm borrowing a Blues Deluxe, so I'm good on that front. Any simple tele pickup will do. I can get the sound I want out of most anything, save for a Bullet with an 81 ;) I never was a finicky guy when it came to that.

    BTW: You wouldn't need to pay me for the work, I wouldn't charge for it. It'll be my payment for allowing me to borrow it. And I'll return it as soon as I can afford something, promise.

    Dude, that'd be friggin awesome!!! And a complete lifesaver. I was just "approved" by my wife on an SX tele, but an Am Std would be much better, even with the stock pups.

    It's all good. Thanks for the good luck, I'm gonna need it. It's a load off my mind that they want me doing rhythm instead of lead...I've got the chops, but I don't have the ability to write a good solo. God granted me the ability to keep tempo whether the drummer ****s up or not, though.

    its the custom custom (sh-11) and since the CC is a bridge HB the screws go on the bottom. But with the screws on the bottom, the "SD" logo is upside down. If im looking at the front side of the pickup, the wires are coming out of the bottom right hand side towards the guitar pots. Just a random question thats all
