Re: 1994 40th Anniversary Fender American Standard Stratocaster

Unholy Ratts ASS
the first strat just gave man an ultra gas ATTACK
ahahahahahahahahah
Q:P
the only one i didnt like is the kramer. the rest are awesome guitars
but mine has kinda 5 to 6 pieces . i mean, my fender standard has 5 to 6 pieces body
im thinkiing the guy swaped the body or something, but i dont believe he would do this.

Re: 1994 40th Anniversary Fender American Standard Stratocaster

Thanks, man. That Baretta isn't for everyone, but it's rare and I love how it plays/sounds. The Frankenstrat is my #1. It's got a baseball bat for a neck, 1" thick profile the entire length - Warmoth Boat.

Can you see seams that indicate it could be 5-6 pieces? Doesn't matter if it is or not. If it sounds good, that's all that matters. I have no idea how many pieces that white one in the last pic is, but it sounds great.

Re: 1994 40th Anniversary Fender American Standard Stratocaster

what i disliked it the fact that the floyd doesnt have the backbox. thats somethign that intrigue me a lot. why is that? istill dont see a point in it.
another thing i disliked, is the bridge position. why is it that way anyway? just 80's stetic or any change in sound at all !?
holy crap.. ahahha is it like the gibson les paul necks?!
how close it that neck shape compared to our modern C shape!?
i can clearly see more than 4 lines behind the black paint. dividing the wood(=seams?)
ahahahah What is a Seam? must be what i just describred.
Hails And Thanks

Re: 1994 40th Anniversary Fender American Standard Stratocaster

What do you mean by backbox? Rear routing to allow pull-up? Early Floyd equipped guitars didn't have pull-up ability, it was dive bomb only.

The angled humbucker actually is done that way to get the poles aligned with the strings better. There were no F-spaced or Tremspaced pickups then....well, by 1988 there were.... but before there were any, the manufacturers angled the pickups to get the poles lined up as best they can. If you look at it, the outer screw coil pole lines up under the low E and then it all gradually works its way across until the outer slug coil pole lines up under the high E.

The neck on the Frankenstrat is nothing like a Les Paul neck. It's more V shaped but a soft V. Very comfortable. And it's MUCH thicker than a modern C shape. Makes a modern C feel like a twig...LOL.

Seams are just that, where the pieces of wood are joined and glued together.

Oooohhhhh pearoid pickguard! Nice looking electric lady! DLT loves pearloid! Looks luscious with black!:fing2:
One thing that puzzles me though. I have a 50th anniversary (96) Strat and a 60th anniversary (06) Strat. How does a 1994 model fall into the 40th anniversary ?

1994 was the 40th anniversary of the Stratocaster itself. 1996 and 2006 were the anniversary's of Fender as a company.

Re: 1994 40th Anniversary Fender American Standard Stratocaster

looks nice!!! BYW it was common for American Standard Fenders to use 4-6 pieces of wood in the bodies.. my 1988 USA Standard must have 5 at least judging by the glue lines in the finnish

Re: 1994 40th Anniversary Fender American Standard Stratocaster
