20 pound (+/-) tube combos that are giggable

I am thinking of saving up for a few years for a fender pro junior and modding it so it uses a 12" http://www.tonedog.com/ and it would be 22 pounds and 15 watts.

Is there any other 20 pound (+/-) tube combos that are giggable? I have an epiphone valve junior combo, but it is not giggable at only 5 watts! If there are any others let me know, many thanks :friday:

Budda Superdrive 18... really loud for 18 watts too. The site says 28 lbs but it is pretty damn light. Lighter than my old Pro Junior I'd say.

Are you sure about that PJ being 20 lbs? I see the site says that but...? Mine was pushing 26,27 on the bathroom scale.

Laney Cub 12 is 11.5 kg - I think that's about 20 lbs. The Cub 10 is even lighter, but I'm not sure how giggable it would be.

There is also the Blackheart Handsome Devil.... I don't know how much it weighs but it a pretty versatile good sounding amp. They seem pretty portable.

I see it is 25.3 pounds so that is pretty lightweight.

the orange tiny terror combo 10" is 33 pounds and the orange tiny terror 12" is 37 pounds, but 15 pounds is a big difference when the reason you are going with a combo is because it is lightweight and portable. I am not that strong, so 37 pounds in one hand is not the goal really, for me and that would be a few trips to the car and then I would just rather go with my tv50 stack

I thought something like the Blackstar HT20 might have been near, but even that's 20.4 Kg according to their site - shame really, as that should have been giggable

After years of gigging with a Splawn QR and Marshall JCM 800 (and Marshall 4x12), my 65 Amps Lil Elvis head/cab feels like I'm carrying a feather.

My regular Valvetronix, when hit with pedals, sounds very much like itself - the way the amp sounds with the effect off is dominant in the sound with the effect on. You may love or hate that - just a data point.

They're great fun. Must give mine another try, even if power up can be temperamental at times.

I've never actually tried one, I just think they look cool. I'd love to give one a blast someday, though.

Get a Fender Super Champ XD or X2 at about 23 pounds. You could swap out a neo speaker and shave the last couple pounds out of it. 15 watts with great cleans. They only run about $200 used.
