Guess what came in the mail? Here's a quick review:

It is the Tech21 Fly Rig 5. Designed to get a great sound direct to a PA or through a backline amp, I am going to use it when we are provided a backline at festivals and when we use our own IEM system live. First, it is tiny. About half the size of my computer keyboard. It can easily fit in the pocket of a guitar case as a backup, but really is designed so it can be a primary direct amp. It has a modulated delay with tap tempo, a Sansamp (modeled after their Blonde pedal, but this one has reverb), a Plexi-type distortion, and a boost. The lights are little knobs,
It is really dynamic, the distortion is smooth, and it sounds awesome into the effects return of an amp or into a PA. It also sounds great with pedals in the front of it too.
