I'm probably in this regardless of what gets built. It's not like I have more pups laying around than guitars to put them in.....oh wait.
But as long as there is still discussion I'm going to throw in my two cents worth.

Mike, Thanks for taking the reigns! I appreciate your doing it! People get pissy and by taking the lead, you , unfortunately, will be the scapegoat so to speak.
People, PLEASE.... :soapbox: As was said before, this is a great opportunity.. Not many companies will let this happen. Lets work together, and see what we can create. If it isnt your cup of tea, don't buy it, but still enjoy and appreciate having a voice in the creation... Plus, if we work together and do this properly, maybe it'll happen again. BUT, I assure you this opportunity wont be granted again if we bicker like children, and disrespect each other or the company.
Enjoy ride, appreciate having the chance to design a product, being part of history, being allowed to have a voice in a major company, and as a bonus, in a company we are obviously very passionate about.
Thanks to Seymour, Evan, MJ and anyone else that should be thanked for thinking enough of me, (a customer) to allow me to use this great forum, for allowing me to have a say so in designing a cool new pickup, and offering us a deal on them.. YOU ROCK!
Guys and gals remember, The C5 was born of input from the forum. The Brobucker is one of the BEST sounding pups Ive ever played .. I Cant wait to see whats next!

Ok, we have already decided ~13.5 k right? A8 Magnet right? AND Parallel Axis poles (well it's leading with 53 votes)? there is no way in hell that that many people would be voting for that style of pole unless they were on board with this awesome (theoretically) design. I can't wait to hear how this puppy sounds.

you can can all the old polls i guess, no need to keep them around we know what won. as for being a mod, bring it on man i will step up as a mod any day and whip these guys into shape lol. i told Evan a while back i'd help out any time he wants it! i was a mod on a honda forum about 7 years ago (when they were cool lol) and i had to deal with a much crazier bunch of guys then these. i just deleted stuff left and right and changed peoples posts too...now that's fun!! when someone makes an out of line post and you change it all to say things like "i love kittens" it messes with peoples heads lol.
aynway on the pickup subject.
the next poll #5 WILL be...
~13.5k A8 PA bucker, vs EVH '78, vs RTM, vs Iommi, vs El Diablo, vs Super V
it will be up later tonight.
yes i'm going to skip ahead a bit but i have a feeling one of the other buckers will win out over the new A8 design. if not then we will finalize the A8.
oh yeah and FYI parallel axis pickups can ONLY be had in BLACK so there will be no color poll if that wins and there is NO point in a poll for 4 cond vs single cond with a parallel axis A8 bucker...4 cond it will be so it's pretty much done as is.
