Yeah if I had the bills and wanted to wait a while to have 'em build it and send it to me I'd probably get an Electric...but since there's an Orange dealership just a few blocks from my house I'd probably just go get a Thunderverb 200 from them. Those things are designed to handle bass and guitar equally well -- y'know, kind of like i do :smokin:

Plus I'd love to hear the baritone Jag through that thing.

I take it that the ELECTRIC range of amps are alot cheaper than Matamps are fotr you US folk ? Looking at the $ VS. Pound right now !

now those electric amps are sounding pretty sweet...I know once I get one I would *have* to have the 6x12" cab though...doh!

haha yeah the Bassman's been 'for sale' for a long time now, just nobody wants to give me the right kind of coinage for it. I'd definitely like to have an Orange head or 2x12 combo more than anything at this point, but I don't know if I could sell the Bassman for enough to get one...I'm hopin to meet somebody with a Rocker 50 or AD120 who'd rather have something vintage eventually and just do a clean trade hahaha...

I can only imagine the kind of air a 120-watter would push through a 6x12. Good lard it would be brewtal.

Completely impractical and rediculous, not to mention horrible to load in and out, but it sure would be fun to use.

ya getting that electric amp would be completely insane. one day Ill get an insane rig like that. Kinda like buying a car, but purely for fun. I mean the electric amp costs $2200 and the 6X12 Cab $1280. Plug your gibson into that baby lol!
