Morley's are not true bypass. They have a buffer circuit that is on all the time, even when the wah function is not on. The buffer helps preserve your signal through long cable runs or chains of pedals. Most Crybaby's are not true bypass either, and they do not have a good buffer circuit, but some of them can be modified to true bypass. When off, they are known as one of the worst tone suckers around. A lot of guys on this forum really like Vox wahs modded by Statdeluxer. To get true bypass in a wah you usually have to go boutique (Fulltone, Budda etc.) or have an older one modified.
