The real question is if they come with a map of original wear, so when you sell you can prove it is in original, undamaged condition? :scratchch

I was devastated for a week when my then new in 1997 Epi Les Paul fell off a stand. It actually wasn't that bad but I felt horrible.

I just love all those blue/green colors Fender has released. That one looks like a 60's blue that the clear coat has yellowed on. Might have to go searching... It's kind of like the compliment to the MIA Ice Blue Metallic, right?

Yep. That's exactly how I always viewed it. In person, it doesn't look like a yellowed blue, though. Other than that opaque greens technically have blue in them, there isn't any discernible hint of blue in it, (i.e. it's definitely not turquoise or the like). It's just a nice, frosty looking sage green.

I've filled chips in Poly with nitro and am pleased with the result. You can definitely tell it's been filled though (not really my intention to hide it any I bought e 1970s guitar on the cheap and it was really wi protect the wood and original finish getting damaged more). I didn't match the colours properly. I added layers then sanded and buffed back to the originals level. it can be done, just dont expect to hide it.


OR do you have the paint chip still? Could you glue it on there?


Here's my poor handy work. The flash made the colour difference worse and exaggerate the chip lines, but does show you can't hide it.
