Best Guitar Wireless System??

untoldstory

Hi, I'm looking for the qualitatively, in respect to tone quality (especially with distorted sounds), best Guitar Wireless System. I've checked the Nady U-1000 on the net...seems to be ok. Never tried any wireless so far. I know that Shure also makes good ones.

Can anyone suggest a professional high-class brand and model? Tone comes first then price.

Many thanks,
Pat

Re: Best Guitar Wireless System??

I have tried a few and never could deal with the change in my tone. They always made my rig brighter and lose warmth. I started playing in a band fronted by a female guitar player that was playing large stages during the warm months. Her and the bass player both use wireless units and roam all over the stage. I was feeling left out. I did finally find a wireless I was happy with tone wise as well as performance wise. The Audio Technica 3000 series. Very happy with it after a spring and summer of outside gigs. Not a single glitch!

Thanks for your message! I had a look at it. Have you also tried to 4000 series?

what r the cheaper shure units like for a cheap solution or are they not worth talking about?

I'm not very familiar with the Shure products so far. I'm not gonna buy anyting cheap (up to 500$) that's for sure. I think that Nady U-1000 is pretty good. Audio Technica looks good too.
