Which guitar you own is your favorite

Does the pickup selector location feel like it gets in the way when you're tapping in songs? I've got a jazzmaster with the pickup selector switch roughly there, and it's the only thing I don't like about it.

Nope :) it feels like having a toggle there like on usual LP. But now with in between tones.

The goth explorer on the right.
Always claimed it must have been made on a Wednesday. I've wired at least a dozen different pickups into it. All of them sounded great, she wears the Blackout Mick Thomson set these days.

Off topic here, but I'm curious what about the jcm2000 tsl did you like more than the dsl variations?, that is if you did indeed like it more.
I remember you sold the dsl or maybe even two of them. I guess that could also just be an old photo, throwing off my perceived timeline lol.

It's just always been a perfect guitar no matter how I've used and abused it.

You just described my Edwards V. Tried 9 gauge, 8 gauge, it's lived in high altitude, high humidity, low humidity, never had to even intonate it. Never had to adjust the truss rod. Never goes out of tune.

Currently it's my Epi Inspired by Gibson Firebird.
Always wanted a Firebird and it did not disappoint. That guitar has a sound/thing all it's own happening.

I've got a nice late 70s Les Paul and a pretty nice Strat (American Special).
The Firebird is like directly between those 2, or like those 2 mixed together with a headstock so large you could have a picnic on it.

Gibson Les Paul 60RI. I waited for years until I found one with a grain/flame similar to a famous #1, but because it's a 60, it has the thinner neck like JPs was shaved down to. Plays like butta. If I just change the knobs and tuners, no one would know the difference.

That's an incredibly looking nice Les Paul.

this fella, it’s always been my go to even though arguably I have guitars that maybe better… it just feels like home!

I wish I could give it more than one like. Like the way you have the uncovered rear pickup a'la Jimmy Page. Would love to hear it thru a Reeves Custom Jimmy.

Thanks, it is actually a Gibson JP model albeit an older one and not custom shop. I have since got 2 old pick up covers on and it’s got more dings and dents. It has a SD Brobucker in the bridge and a Whole Lotta humbucker in the neck. Sounds great through my Cornfords or my Marshall’s.

Probably my favourite guitar at the moment is the Squier Affinity that was "sideways" upgraded with a loaded pickguard from a Squier Standard.

No photos because we all know what they look like.

So much so, I ordered one of these today. In that colour.

I'm hoping this will become my new favourite.

Goddamn. I've never liked strats but there's something about that capri orange with a white pickgurd that makes my knees buckle.

This photo is years old. The pickup covers have been removed.

The combination of twin humbuckers with a trem and 25.5" scale set neck works really well for me.

Been my n°1 since I got it back in the late 90s.
