Which guitar you own is your favorite

This photo is years old. The pickup covers have been removed.

The combination of twin humbuckers with a trem and 25.5" scale set neck works really well for me.

Been my n°1 since I got it back in the late 90s.

Not seen a seen a Hamer in a long time. I've actually always wanted a Hamer Explorer must be a Rick Nielsen thing.

My namesake. My 75 Les Paul Custom, black beauty. Got a Super Distortion bridge, Duncan Jazz neck, reversed the neck magnet for out of phase middle, push pull pots to split the coils. It sings. I'd say 1A is my 80 LP standard wine red with a Floyd, Brobucker bridge, Jazz neck, same mag reverse, push pull pots, etc. If the other sings, this one screams.

Don't know that I have a favorite. I only own three guitars, and each one is in a different tuning and therefore gets played when I have the urge to play whatever songs from whatever artist. Right now I'm playing my Les Paul in E standard a lot, but that's because I'm playing a lot of Def Leppard and early '90s thrash these days.

The goth explorer on the right.
Always claimed it must have been made on a Wednesday. I've wired at least a dozen different pickups into it. All of them sounded great, she wears the Blackout Mick Thomson set these days.

She has taken every string gauge and setup with literally zero issues. Always in tune, solid, and she sounds beastly!

It's just always been a perfect guitar no matter how I've used and abused it.

Now that's a rig! Is the white one a Lzzy Hale model?

You need one of the Brendon Small horse ones for a trifecta.

The white one was a lzzy hale model. I swapped the pickups for ahb1s in gold.... But I couldn't love it.... So I traded Jolly for some black ahb3s and then went ahead and changed all the gold hardware to black. It's beastly now!

^^ Looks like foam to dampen sympathetic vibrations.

No doubt. The best thing about having multiple guitars. I need another nylon string, because I hate restringing it. It took me more than a few times to learn to tie the ends right. I can do it now, but still don't enjoy it.

This is, by far, my most beautiful guitar

I have so many excellent sounding guitars, how does one choose? These are just a few.

About 17 years ago, I bought a used Music Man Silhouette Special. It had a big chip in the bottom, so it was pretty cheap, but it was the perfect guitar for me. I had the neck scalloped, put in 2 humbuckers with some fancy 5-way wiring, and it is still the most perfect guitar for me. It is light, and balanced, and sounds great with any amp.

I don't know that model, but every higher end Music Man I've ever played was pretty special -especially the ones with asymmetrical neck profiles.

I'm a tall guy though, those tiny necks and smaller bodies don't look right on me. :)

I have a 1979 Handmade Pedulla LP Special style 6 string guitar with Bartolini Beast pickup system (in my profile pic) . It's the best feeling guitar I've ever played -I've begged Mike Pedulla to make me 2 more many many times, but he was too busy with the success of his bass line in the past 20 years to start building guitars again, and now he retired last year so..... I doubt I'll ever get backups for this guitar now,

Interestingly enough, he makes his final guitar neck profile on feel with his hand only and doesn't try to meet standard measurements for consistency in a line of instruments -so I guess Mike's hand is similar to mine.

One of my bass players owned 3 of his basses. They are not only super smooth to play and sound great, they are also among, if not, the nicest looking basses I have ever seen.
