One of my bass players owned 3 of his basses. They are not only super smooth to play and sound great, they are also among, if not, the nicest looking basses I have ever seen.

Yeah, I've felt and played his basses before, I agree -super great. He shut everything down last year and is sippin' Mai Tais somewhere I guess!

What's the black area between the bridge and the tailpiece?

A piece of black foam to kill any ringing harmonics during recording, there's foam behind the nut as well.

Can't pick just one.
Esquire has a Lil'59 wired series/parallel/single coil on the 3 way switch.
Tone pot is push/pull up is "modified cocked wah".
It's ultra light,which my smashed up back likes.

Junior is just sweet!
