I'm looking at all the big "small" names...like Germino and Mojave...I also want an XTC...Happy Dude said:no especially if I have college debts I could not justify it
I saw you are selling that awesome single recto though, so wattaru lookin at?
I want a road king, but only if my job starts paying me 6 figures (otherwise I have nowhere to put it where it will not get ripped off round these parts)
I'm with you on this one. I even paid under $600 for my Marshall. However, the most expensive piece of gear I ever bought was my Martin D-28 ($1900 out the door).kmcguitars said:Married, One Kid, Fixed Income = FUHGEDABOTIT ! Honestly I never spent more that $600 on ANY! piece of gear. I'm a frugal minded musician.:13: Right now I'm in the process of building my own Boutique amp. When it's all said and done... It should come in under the $600 mark. Just got my Cab. today.Good ole' Dad did a fine job building it for me.
I'll post some pics later.:smokin:
I've got a lot of time on my hands.:chairfall Yes, That's just parts. If you factor in the time I've spent in design and assembly, Then equate that with the hourly rate a skilled tradesman would make. Now we're talking 2x's the price. But it's a labor of love.ErikH said:Question on your amp, is that cost just the parts? If so, what about your time? That's worth something.![]()
