i do it through solid state amps sometimes...not sure how it would work out with tubes overdriving. basically guitar amps are made to have a big mid cut because the guitar pickups respond the most to mid-bass frequencies. it still doesn't sound as good as hi-fi stuff, but if you turn the bass and treble all the way down and the mids about halfway up, it gives a pretty flat response.

Thanks for the help, I managed to find a small monitor system to use that sounds good. I tried the amp.....you weren't kiddin. I've heard better outta Goodwill systems.

i want a keyboard amp for stuff like this... they can have a million uses... keys, vocal mics, guitar and bass pods, drum machines, and music if needed... they are great powered PA systems...
