Finished in material /relic but with no exposed wood.

Verdict i am happy with the way it plays and sounds. A few small issues but nothing worth worrying about.

Nice work man...like the finish/colour haha. Not usually a fan of the whole road worn thing..but that looks pretty cool! How did you get hold of that bridge? I remember seeing one on ebay ages ago and thinking about picking it up (...gone before I made up my mind lol) ..they're pretty hard to come by.

Not a fan of relic finishes either but that looks nice.

yeah either am i haha. I just wanted to try something like a relic but with a twist. I didnt really like the idea of having exposed timber so i filled up all the gaps and leveled it with sealer before i glossed it.

Its Charvel! Looks dont matter, you play a neck like that and you just smile and forget time and space!

i got that neck for $150 au dollars. The guy listed it in a 3 day auction as chavel instead of charvel. I was lucky because it is possibly the best neck i own.

HA! Maybe if the baby was on a diet of pesto only. It reminds me of soapstone. And would you believe the material started out blue but the sealer ambered it which in turn made it green.

I kinda like the color...what's the story on the material finish? For some reason I can't wrap my mind about how you would successfully do that(?)

Yeah...it's cool. Pretty translucent or something. It sort of reminds me of jade...

Its laminated on using glue then sealed with sanding sealer until the weave of the material has gone and it becomes flat. Then after this is done you can gloss over it with your desired product. It is a lot of work but with each one you get a bit better and it becomes easier.

They just come to visit us. Sometimes i even hear them as late as 10pm at night. I always thought it must have been the bush turkeys but they don't make chicken noises haha
