here are some clips of my fender supersonic and the settings/gear i used. the amp modes are in this order: vibrolux channel, bassman channel, burn channel. in the burn channel, i did several samples starting from medium gain to high gain. there are two gain stages, so there are 2 samples (med/high) for each gain stage.
basically, my eq is as follows:
bass = 1 o'clock
mids = 1 o'clock
treb = 10 o'clock
reverb = 9 o'clock
on the vibrolux channel, i dropped the treble a bit and raised the bass. on the bassman channel, i dropped the bass a bit and raised the treble.
GUITAR: fender USA strat
PICKUPS: dimarzio virtual vintage solo (bridge)

i did another high-gain recording with a bunch of sweeps, arpeggios, scales, malmsteen and eric johnson stuff with both the bridge and neck pickups, but i'm too tired to upload that right now. i'll try to get it to you guys tomorrow. in any case, i think you'll be impressed with the sound of hte fender supersonic combo. oh yeah, my strings are OLD but it still sounds good!
too thick, too much mids, etc... let me know what you think
