A few weeks ago I took out the stock bridge hb in this guitar and put in a Distortion.
At first, I was skeptical after I did it and thought it might have been a waste of money. I initially thought it sounded kind of sketchy, but I was wrong.
Just want to check in to say that is WAS NOT a waste of money, the guitar sounds great now as opposed to decent. No, it will never be a Gibson Les Paul, but it does sound really friggin good! Really searing tone and a nice chunk. I mean, the guitar has limitations because of its build, but this pickup takes it to the limit of its potential.
If you have ever considered making a mod like this, I can give you the unequivocal go ahead, dont hesitate.
