...Had a Diezel VH4S come in for repair and after repairing the shot caps...i gotta admit..it really sounds good! (I'm rarely impressed...regardless of how much an amp is hyped or costs)....
Although I'm really looking for a better "Clean" than what it delivers....(still better than most!)....I could probably get used to it with some more experimenting....
OD seems a little more "defined" than the Herbert, although true to Diezel form it is "ultra" mid scooped"....if that's what you're after.....it's a killer amp.
It's unusual to actually find an amp that can really put my G12T75's through more of a workout than my own amp designs.....and truth be told...Peter's design on this one raised the bar!
It's such "hard work" playing with everyone else's toys!!!!...and I get paid for it!
