This is something I've never thought about much, probably because I naturally use my right foot, but also the left foot sometimes.
Last night, after all this talk about Teese wahs, I decided to spend more time with my Fulltone Clyde Deluxe's features, listening to it with my strat and 335.
Normally, I just keep it in 'Jimi' or 'Whacked' mode and step on it. This time I really wanted to listen to the dynamics of every setting with every guitar pickup combination......and which settings are best for certain types of licks/riffs.
I noticed that my right foot is more in sync with the beat, but surprisingly, my left foot is more independent, allowing me to shape the notes better, probably because my left hand is doing that too. I started giving more thought to which foot I should really be using.
So, for you wah users out there......which foot do you normally use, and can you be ambidextrous enough to use both?
