Does this neck look out of place?

Re: Does this neck look out of place?

looks great to me. pointy bodies need pointy headstocks.

Re: Does this neck look out of place?

I think the inlays really stand out but it's not bad.

Re: Does this neck look out of place?

i want to put a wrap around bridge on it for maximum image viewing but the neck will need a big shim so i was thinking i would just refret with some ultra jumbo fretwire 2.59mm high 4.33mm wide. it still might need shimming but it wont have to be as drastic.

As for the red on the headstock. i will refinish it with a kreator logo.

Re: Does this neck look out of place?

The image should be sharper, crispier. The headstock should be reverse, in contrast with the lower bout which is already pointing downward.

Read again Derick^^ No clear on the image so all the dust is in it.

You have something negative to say on every post yet seem to know nothing.

Show me some of your crap ass work you donkey.

Looks good to me. Perfect match, IMO.

That's an odd looking bridge route. What bridge was in there?

One thing you can do to avoid shimming is to clean up that bridge route, fill it, then make a recessed TOM route and make it string-thru. No neck angle required.

Ohhhhhh. OK. Through a sustainer in there. :)

You can still go the recessed TOM route if you wanted to.

I wont be spending a heap of coin on this, Just going to put it together with any half decent parts. The body is plywood too so its not worth too much effort.

In my area junk pile of wood goes straight to the chicken-feed mill or the fire place, instead of being used to make guitars that would be a subject of ridicule for poor craftsmanship. But since you ask:

Keep your chin up and never stop learning.

No, I'm pretty that's where it is supposed to be attached to the body.
