Dream Acoustic...

This, I think, is my dream acoustic:

It's the Martin DC-15E

I don't like bright-sounding acoustics, so the mahogany back, sides and front should get me close to the tone I want. Plus, it has a cutaway, for killer shredding!!! :laugh2:

It's not that expensive either.

So, to give this thread a point, what's your dream acoustic? You're not allowed to reply unless you post a pic or a link!!!! :dance:

I agree. My current acoustic is cutaway, mahogany, with electronics and a acoustic shredding neck. The only difference is mine is an older model with higher quality electronics and pickup, Fishman.

As strange as it sounds, I love the Alvarez AJ60SC (yes, even more than a lot of Martins or Taylors I've played). If that had a pro preamp like Taylor's Expression System and dots on the fretboard, I'd be in business.

This guitar plays and sounds AMAZING. I was in awe when I played this guitar... the neck is very thin and fast, unlike most acoustics, great for fast leads... just an awesome guitar.

I agree with Jolly Taylor guitars are my favorite acoustic guitars! I plan on getting a 310 probbaly sometime soon. I can't afford the upper end models but if i had to pick one and money was no object i would say it would have to be probbaly 610 ce model or the 614 ce model.
