drrr...Fender HRDX too bassy?

Tried it in a store, and it just seemed so dark to me. I wasn't allowed to play it loud since there was a piano lesson going on, so maybe this isn't a fair judgement. But it seemed soooo bassy to me. Like the only tone I liked was treble-and-presence-all-the-way-up, bass-and-mids-all-the-way-down bassy.

I got home and fiddled with my JC-120 and liked it a lot more...again it might not have been a fair judgement... but still! :smack:
