You can do that? Please tell, I'm using Cakewalk Guitar Tracks pro, and have a Ratt backing track that's downtuned to Eb that I'd like to uptune to E.
Thanks buddy. Yes, I used the Flextone IIXL, direct XLR outs into my standard run of the mill Soundblaster card. It sounds differently than when running through the speakers, which I prefer the speaker tone as it is thicker.
I used a TS9 tubescreamer, with all settings at 12:00 (I'm a simple creature), used the Brit Hi Gain setting on the amp, with about drive at 12:00, and B/M/T at about 9/8/7 -ish. There's a little bit of delay in there, too.
