Regarding trustworthy sources for used guitars, i have had many good experiences with both UsedGuitarCenter.com and Music Go Round. Each one offers a reasonable return period and they have never given me a hassle when i have decided to return the item.

Ah, thanks for the rec. I actually already have an Epi LP Standard, with Black Winters, that I'm using as a jack-of-all-trades guitar in E standard. So I'm not keen to buy another Epi.
I think part of my issue is not knowing where to buy reliable used products. I'm scared of being screwed by a bad used deal. If you have suggestions for trusted online places to buy used, I'll listen.
