I'll write the review soon. I don't know if it's good but I'll let the audio demo speak for the amp for now.

Gear: Gibson Les Paul Traditional (57 Classics), Mesa Boogie 1x12 w/V30, Ibanez TS808HW (set for clean boost), SM57 mic, Cubase

sounds cool - the pink taco sounded better though IMO

Nice to hear about these amps again. Seems like they kind of disappeared for awhile...probably just the circles that I travel in.
My previous neighbor was from Sweden.
Said he went to school with the owner...think his name is Jan Elm or Alm....said the guy has genius level IQ and is a Prince of a human being.
Nice Demo

Well I set the amp with a flat EQ, and though it sounds great when you're playing next to the amp, it's kind of dark in a recording. I'll this same recording again but with the bright switch engaged so it will sound better next time around. Each channel has 2 bright options and there's a global "high cut." The high cut it like a reverse presence control. I wasn't familiar with the amp when I recorded it because I basically turned the amp on for the first time and recorded this over backing track that I have stored in my Tascam.

The Pink Taco is more straight-forward so it's easier to dial in, but now that I'm getting familiar with the Stinger, I think the new recording will sound more comparable.

Yep, the amps coming out of Europe these days are outstanding. Amps like Engl, Elmwood, Koch, etc... are incredible, and with American amp makers charging a premium, the Europeans makers like Engl and Koch can compete. It would be nice to see more Elmwoods on the American market but the dealers who carry them here don't do a very good job of marketing or discounting them. Elmwoods are EXPENSIVE, but I have no idea how much the new M20 costs. If it's a relatively affordable model, then I'm all for it. KT66 channel switcher at 20 loud watts... sounds awesome.

Sounds cool to me, maybe it should be called the singer!

I tried the bright switch on channel 2 this time. I also used a nickel covered JB instead of my LT Traditional. I think the JB is a hair darker than the 57 Classic in my LP. It was a G&L ash strat by the way. The mic was also switched out to an e609 which I think is clearer. Here's a rough take of the brighter version. Let me know if I'm getting there yet. Thanks for listening.
