In a Fender TRRI? Been thinkin about pairing this with a Swamp Thang, or maybe a Texas Heat?
Thoughts?
Thoughts?
I'd do a Wizard and a Swamp Thang. Use the Wizard for aggressive mids and highs and then the Swamp Thang to fill in the lows and provide a darker top end and mid range.
YES!Emi Wizard (loudest speker on the market, at 103.5dB) is gonna make a LOUD amp even (((LOUDER)))
Amen, my 1watt blackheart is amazingly loud through that speaker... like earplugs loud (ok, I have tinnitus and don't want to exacerbate it but still).Emi Wizard (loudest speker on the market, at 103.5dB) is gonna make a LOUD amp even (((LOUDER)))
Interesting.I've had that combo in a 4x12 for a while. The wizards do have a presence to them that started to put me off in my 4x12, more like T75 presence, not a mid spike.
Interesting.
What head are you using?

Swamps are ridiculously awesome.
I have a Wizard mixed in a cab with a C Rex. Be advised the Wizard is designed for closed cabs per Eminence website. I originally had in an open back and it sounded a little 'off'. Too crispy or something. Finally realized my mistake and now its in a closed cab I like it. It balances the darker C Rex. But, its also VERY loud. It can overwelm most other speakers.
Not a very Fendery speaker. Excels at Brit OD stuff (Marshally type)
