Epic Flexible Pedal Rigs

This is kinda where I'm at too. I'd rather have a couple of sounds that always put a smile on my face than a thousand sounds where there might be something great in there but it'll take me weeks to find 'em.

Same for me. I think the pedal I have with the most options is the Holy Grail Neo but I leave it on Plate and go. I can get various levels of drive out of the 5150 with a twist of the gain knob. If I need more, turn it up or use the boost feature. I've found that having more at my disposal makes me focus less on what is needed, both at home and on stage. Sure, some stuff is fun to play with but even with multi-fx stuff, I tend to find I use 1 or 2 settings and that's it.

I love my DM-2w not just for the analog delay that it is but the simplicity as well. The Keeley Comp Plus is straight forward. The EP Booster is one knob. Phase 90 is one knob. Keepin' it simple. That's how I like it.

I like the Wampler Pinnacle Deluxe V2, where Boost is a knob, a foot switch, and a position on a mini toggle. How is it supposed to work? No idea. I see an RTFM session in my future.

See, this makes a lot more sense to me. The boost is like a 2nd channel that's footswitchable. In the one Ace posted, the boost is a toggle switch that you would have to stop playing, reach down, and then flick. I don't really get it . . . you could do the same and turn up the level or the gain . . . both of which would be the same, wouldn't they??

the boost mini switches on both pedals do the same thing, low vs high gain range for the dirt. the pinnacle dxl has the extra foot switchable adjustable boost which is a handy feature for sure
