Anyone wanna guess how I voted?

He used a variety of guitars...mostly ES-175, ES-5 Switchmaster, a '55 Tele with a neck humbucker, and an LP Jr.
I love the sound of a good Les Paul, but I can never gel with their ergonomics, especially playing live.
I'm happier with a nice, well-balanced SG. Better upper fret access, and the slightly lighter weight agrees with me.
I also like 339s.![]()
You would like one of the LPs I made...slightly smaller body overall, thinner than a Gibby, chambered, contoured heel for better fret access, belly relief, weighs only 6 1/2 lbs (same weight as an SG but way better balance).
I can't be the only one that likes the Nighthawk. To me, it perfectly fits between a Les Paul and SG with a tighter feel. Yes, the pickup combination is different and can be annoying if you're trying to find replacements, but the stock ones in my 1993 Custom are really good. Granted, you have to change amp settings as it isn't exactly a Strat or LP, but it's own thing. I love the feel of the Nighthawk and the ergonomics are great.
