My friend gave it to me for showing him how to change strings on his floyd. Just for gits & shiggles i was like fuggit..... It reminded me of "communication breakdown" almost immediately.

Done with the pearly gates in the mh-350nt

pffffthehehe awesome. You should A/B into that sitting on top of a better amp and see if you can make that little turd sound like magic. As it stands, I like that angry little chihuahua.

not bad at all! that's one of those where if you're recording you do a quick part using it and people are like "duuuude, what was that sick amp used on that one part?!"

Good sound is good sound, and that sounds good!

:headbang:

You win! No doubt the PG's don't hurt either...

You should do a recording with it and make the cork sniffers choke by not showing the Amp until the end.

Who was it that did that about five or so years ago here? Made a great sounding recording, and it turned out to be one of those $100 Epiphone specials through a little solid state Fender Bassman tweed mini amp! I actually got one of those amps because of that recording, lol. To the OP....wow, that is cool.

Cool.

One trick pony as far as the distortion sound goes? just that flavour, or quite tweakable & got other tones too?

Re: Free junk amp sounds surprisingly un-crappy

Definitely a one-trick pony. Anything other than being dimed with low output pickups sounds like crap. Lol

It's amazing how so much cheap, zero-pedigree gear has at least one good sound in it.
