I broke down and got the all mahogany satin brown Les Paul Trad Pro. Couldn't resist $1150 out the door. I already have two vintage LP Customs and need another LP like a hole in the head. Its an illness.

These real life pics of the same model sold me. Never quite know how they will look out of the box, but having owned satin, and satin brown Gibsons in the past I know they look pretty awesome with a little polish.

I love that guitar!!! By satin, do you mean no nitro finish? I REALLY like that... did you play one before buying? I wonder what the tonal fifferences are - likely similar to a studio?

Satin means nitro sprayed without filling the wood first. And obviously no buffing, kinda pointless.

I got the 60's Tribute a week and a half ago. The Deluxe will be waiting for me when I get home tonight. Fedex tried to deliver it yesterday while I was at work and said that I had to wait until today.

TC, that Trad looks amazing!

If they had the sunburst in stock for that price, you had best believe I'd be selling off a few of my least used guitars to get one. I've always wanted an all mahogany Paul again, after making the mistake of selling my three-pickup, all-mahogany Custom.

I picked up a 70's Tribute Les Paul. It sounds killer! Everyone always talks about 50's & 60's Gibsons, but the mini hums on the 70's are awesome. Can't beat $529 out the door!
