As much as I love Gibsons, I am going to have to go with Fender. I just cannot do without an Esquire/Tele. It'd be the one guitar I'd choose if I had to have only one.

Good thing none of us actually have to make this choice.

As much as I like a good Strat or Tele, I have to go with Gibson. They're my comfort zone.

BOTH.

if it had to be one, Fender. You can stick humbuckers in a strat and get a meaty tone, or stick single coil sized buckers in a 'stang if you want that shorter scale feel. That's how I feel. Some may hate those options. I'll admit that I'd probably never take either of those modded fender options over a les paul, but if there were no les pauls, I'd be a Fender guy forever.

But since there ARE les pauls, I need one. Always need to have one.
