Latest addition...after 20 odd years of playing almost exclusively Les Pauls, I decided to take the Tele plunge...picked up a 1985 war torn Japanese Fender with Texas Specials. I now understand what all the fuss is about when folk go crazy about Teles- just got her today, started playing when it was light, now it's dark, hence the poor pics...I'm in love again.

With all these awsome axes, we should totally make a SD user group guitar porn calander! All guitars that have been improved with SD pickups! I would totally get that.

Cheers man - lots of dinks and dings that don't show up on the pic, but it's the same with all my guitars - that's the way I like 'em.

The fact they are cheaper is an added bonus though...;>)

I take great care of my guitars and get quite upset when they get 'dinged'. Going by my friends, who like to customise them, sticker them, and show them general 'Bad Love' I'm a minority. Apparently, and i quote, "They sound better when they've had a life outside the case!"

Some of mine have had plenty of life, but still look close to new... Their owner [Me] thinks he's had plenty of life for all of us!

I bought this USA Mockingbird for £50 in a pawn shop in London - they had no clue what the **** it was and were highly amused at the 'ugly' guitar I was buying. I stripped it out, ima fit a kahler to it and SD's... obviously.
