I'm just wondering. I put a .11-.49 set on my jaguar for the show i had last saturday and theyre still going strong. i didnt wipe them down or anything after the show and my sweat can go through steel so..
I use them on my number one acoustic. It's my gig axe so they take a beating. They keep their zing for a long time. I change them four times a year at most.
I used to use regular non-coated strings. I couldn't get more than one gig out of a set before they went dead. Elixir's might be expensive but they save me money in the long run because they last so long.
this man knows his strings +1D'addarios and Rotosounds barely last a month in my hands.
Now I'm using a 9-46 Elixir set on my Ibanez and they feel pretty close to new after 2 and a half months.
No kidding, they do last a lot and sound great.
Elixirs are my favorite strings, for good reason.
Those nanowebs don't feel any different to me from regular strings and I get a good 3 months out of them.
The last two packs I bought from them had the high E snap a few minutes after tuning to pitch the first time. I asked them about it as I've been buying them for a few years and that's never happened, and they said they'd send me 2 .009 E's and then a whole extra set just to satisfy me.
Good strings from a good company. Not for everybody, but definitely for me.
How'd you do that?! I broke some strings i was trying to put on my strat!

just fill out the stuff correctly and then explain to them what happened. If you're polite they'll get back to you and let you know what they can do, I guess.
thanks man. :beerchug:
yeah I was surprised when they hooked me up, I hope they do the same for you
