Laugh all you want about GAS. It IS real!! After I got my B Bender back and went through 10 amps looking for my amp I finally stumbled on the Lux and Celtic! I told everyone around me that I was now set for a long long time! I truely had no urge whatsoever to aquire any new gear. Well that lasted for about a month. I have found that all it takes is that one amp or that one guitar to set the spark again.
Here's my situation: I bought the 69 Tele RI < 1 month ago just for fun and last week a buddy of mine was getting rid of his Boogie Subway Blues so I snagged it up too for really cheap. If you guys remember a while back I was really GASSIN for a Dr. Z Maz Jr but couldn't quite commit because my main sound wasn't there.I still love the tone of the Maz and now that I have the Lux I have the luxury of trying other amps since I now am happily married to said Lux!!
Basically now that I have these two peices of gear I am thinking of hocking them in order to get the Dr. Z. So I say it again GAS never goes away. It may lie dormant for a while, but you just wait because it will come back!! Take heed brothers!!
