You're pretty close about the EMG users... Matt Bachand uses the 81 in the bridge, and 60 in the neck.

I can't make you a video, but I'll give you a rediculously detailed step-by-step description, if you want.

Zakk, yes. Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman both use dual 81s in their guitars. ;)
Personally, I prefer the 81 or 60 in the neck with an 85 in the bridge. I've also had the two 81 setup and 81b/85n, but the 85b/60n or 85b/81n just seems to work better, IMO. The 81 can be a little too bright and seems to work better in the neck position with the warmer 85 in the bridge position.

Kerry does, in fact, use an 85 neck in most of his guitars. At least one has a Fernandes Sustainer, and his 7 strings have DiMarzios.

Well, I know his signature ESP models had dual 81s. I also remember a question being asked of him one time about 85s and he responded, "We don't use that pickup."

Kerry doesn't have a sig ESP guitar. That's Jeff. Jeff uses dual 81's, Kerry uses an 81/85.

In the early '90s he most certainly did have two ESP signature guitars... one was black, the other was black/red crackle, and they both came with two 81s. I've also got a '95 catalog that's got those models in it.

Well, he lied to Guitar World & Guitar Player, if he said he didn't use the 85 :)

Kerry was an ESP endorser for awhile, and went back to BC Rich sometime around '98 or '99.

According to the March '02 GP, "King's arsenal includes five B.C. Rich guitars: a King V (with EMG 81 and 85 pickups)..." amongst other things.

I don't always trust the signature model of anyone's particular instrument as the final word on particular details. The old ESP JH model (James Hetfield) comes from the custom shop with a bolt-on neck. Does anyone really think Het said, "Use a bolt-on for my $3000 guitar"? :D

i still have a lot of doubts about the emgs EQS
the perfect situation should be : emg 85, emg 81, emg 60, emg 85, eq s described to me and with soundclips
but that´s almost impossible.

first i was planning to install the emgs in the fender RI50´s, but i changed my mind.
i would like to trade my les paul and my red strat for a 24 frets maple neck, poplar or basswood body guitar.. but noone seems to want to trade it with me.

Didn't you get schematics for the EMGs with them? If they're not available at EMG's site, I'll scan mine for you.

It takes me about 30 minutes to install a set of EMGs from scratch, and that's going really fast, not explaining anything. The video would be WAY bigger than 10 megs. It'd probably be more than an hour, so we'd be talking gigs, and I have dial-up service, so it'd take god knows how long to email.

Like I said, if you want, I'll email you the wiring diagram with a super detailed, step-by-step explanation of everything.
