I Just receive this from EMG TECH SUPPORT

You asked "What's the best pickup for perfect everything?"

Impossible requests.

I disagree, he wanted a metal pickup, not something for blues or clean work, clearly he wanted something for distortion. He wanted somethign with a large amount of mids, smooth highs and not too much bass, all hes asking about is a decent high gain pickup for metal with the correct EQ for him, he didnt want a pickup to do everything.

I have nothing against EMG and sure it was just an 'off day' we all have them, but i dont see whats so impossible about WFD's requests.

I agree with you Forbes!

Actually, i understand that the EMG guy migth had a bad day, but he should be more professional in his answers, doing his job.

Ed Degenaro from THD.... now THERE's a great guy! I sent him lots of mails about his amps, and he replied to me in a very respectful and professional way, almost of he was a good friend of mine ;).

But i guess since EMG gets so many E-mails, maybe the guy answering them are really tired and not very enthusiastic of his work.

Anyway, Cheers!

A good way to Know if it was just a Bad day and etc.. is that one of you, could send a SIMILAR email, to the guy.. and see if he will answer it Properly, or not.
if he Repeat the "BAD" day, i´ll report him.
Q:/
But, i don´t care about it anymore.

SOmeone needs to familiarise tthemselves with the concepts of intened meaning and literal meaning.

"I want the highs to sound good, the mids to sound good and the los to sound good." Exaggerated but that's what the EMG guy basically as to work with. "It has to sound great with my playing." Simplified, but what is the tech supposed too do with that?

Re: I Just receive this from EMG TECH SUPPORT

I understand Zeus´ point...we DO understand WFD a bit better than most english speakers out there....simply because we´re used to it (and because he´s improving constantly) ;)
