I Need Help Fast

Hey guys, I just wired up my CC to a 500K DiMarzio Pot " Audio Taper ", and when I plugged her in, I got hum, and I could just Barely hear any sound coming out of my amp. - I took a pic of my soldering job in the control cavity, but am having trouble posting the pic. Can I email the pic to one of you guys-and you could post it, so you can see what's up ? I wired it per Seymour's printable schematic. Was I supposed to solder the Green and Bare wires to the Vol. Pot ? THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I soldered the Green & Bare wires together, and grounded them to the pot. The schematic wasn't real clear on that, if you look on 1 HB 1VOL. you'll see what I mean

YEs the green and bare go together. I would have to see what you did.

Sounds like possibly a strand of the hot wire(black?) is touching something it shouldn't, like the pot casing. Or you have a bad solder joint. Them's my best guesses.
