I don't know if it matters that much whether you boost with a pedal or not. Everyone sets up their amp differently, so the full effect of the pedal will be different anyway. Guitars are good. Pedals are good. Amps are good. It's all about the Rock.

well, I Did order a boost pedal already.... just in case I may want it... plus I have the AMT E1 pre-amp/dirt pedal that's just sitting here never used....
The amp I ordered does work well with boosts, but many metal thrashers don't use one.

we shall see.... can't wait for it to get here!
