Any '60's-'70's-ish Gibson-style humbucker will do it. Don't go high in output. It's really all about sending a relatively clean signal into a cooking amp, and using the right hand to get your compression...and a lot of it is also having a badass mother****ing rock of a player on the other guitar, so you can screw around out front. You can get the perfect Angus tone, but it won't go very far without the Malcolm tone holding it up.
